The College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology is one of the constituent colleges of Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh. The College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology is actively involved in imparting education for the B. Tech. (Agri. Engg.) and M. Tech (Agri. Engg.) programmes. In addition to this, the research and extension education activities are undertaken. The learned faculty members and dedicated staff of the college are the motive force in putting the college in front line in the State.
I am happy to know that the College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology has put a merit list for admission to B. Tech. (Agri. Engg.) for the year 2004-05 on internet for the first time. Also, details about the college and the academic programme are put on the website. I congratulate Dr. N. C. Patel, Principal and Dean of the College as well as appreciate other staff members especially, Dr. P M Chauhan, Er. K C Patel, Er. A L Vadher and Er. M N Dabhi for their efforts in this direction. I hope the faculty of Agricultural Engineering in general and College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology in particular will make concerted efforts for the benefit of farmers in the areas like efficient Farm Machinery and Power, implements, Soil and Water Engineering, post harvest technology and Processing as well as Renewable Energy Management.
